• Arrives according to need for duty.
• Serves to check-in riders and collect monies.
• Provides information about event
• Assists volunteers with check-in and provide information of where they are to report.
• Counts and tallies total dollars for award purposes and event totals.

• Arrives at 6:30 a.m. for duty.
• Rides in own or others’ truck or SUV on the bike course monitoring the bike riders.
• Identifies safety issues such as riders without helmets or wearing of headphones, etc.
• Communicate to rest stops and home-base the progress of the riders. (cell phone required per car)
• Provides assistance to broken down or injured cyclists.
• Possibly drives behind riders with hazard lights to protect riders in traffic.
• Removes route markers after event.
• Cheers and motivates riders to keep on going … and how great they look!!

• Arrives at 7:00 to 11:00 for duty or p.m. from 11:00 to 3:00
• Put out food and beverages for meals.
• Monitor food area for refilling or preparation needs.
• Provides continuous clean-up of food and picnic area.
• Provides smile and wonderful meal for the tired bikers!

• Arrives according to location times.
• Provides basic first aid for bikers.
• Needs to be a nurse, EMT, paramedic.
• Remains at rest stop until rest stop closes.
• Kiss the boo-boos and makes them all better!

• Arrives according to location times.
• Sets up an awesome area for tired bikers to get refreshed.
• Offers assistance with directions on the bike course if needed.
• Contacts medical if help needed.
• Keeps supply of food and beverages available for riders.
• Stays in communication with other rest stops and home-base as to status of riders.
• Encourages and motivates riders to keep on going!!

• Arrives early (6:00 a.m.) to assist in getting our base camp set up for operation.
• Possibly has larger vehicle to transport needed items to base camp.
• Provides assistance until mid morning with stage setup, finish line, etc.
• Comes with a huge smile to start our day off right!

• Begins around 3:00 with the disassembly of our operations.
• Possibly has a vehicle for transportation of items from base camp.
• Comes with a huge smile to end our day just right!

• Arrives according to assignment.
• Provide articles to local newspapers pre-event.
• Provide articles post-event to local newspapers, etc.
• Possibly get quotes or stories from participants day of.
• Writes articles for website post-event (or pre if needed)
• May coordinate with the communications team.

• Arrives at 6:00 a.m. or as duty requires.
• Rides course before event to ensure road markings are all satisfactory
• Monitors and troubleshoots the bike course for safety of riders.
• Works in conjunction with the SAG team.
• Help bike riders to communicate their need for medical or other assistance.
• May provide traffic assistance.
• Cheers and encourages riders to keep on going!!
• All volunteers mush have valid Michigan driver’s license & proof of insurance.

• Is responsible for marking the courses the day before.
• Gives directions to the Motorcycle team about checking areas in a.m.
• Provides a wonderfully marked course for our riders and support teams.
